

Pat earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and received a MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Pat held a wide variety of financial and management accounting positions in the financial services industry for 25 years prior to starting the firm in 1999. She has provided income tax services in San Antonio for over 25 years.
Pat was born in Dubuque, Iowa and moved to Texas as soon as she could. She loves dogs and shares her favorite one, Remy, with members of the BWA team on a daily basis.
When not at the office, she enjoys traveling, reading, music, dancing and walking/fitness activities. Pat continues with her drum lessons and dreams of joining a band one day!


Theresa (Tee) grew up in a military family living in nine places before the age of 13. Since then, she has called San Antonio home raising her two sons here.
Tee has over 25 years of progressive experience in accounting and business planning including financial statement preparation and analysis, budgeting, product pricing, tax preparation and tax planning. Tee joined Pat in early 2002 after holding increased levels of responsibilities in the financial services industry. Tee has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Tee also shares a passion for dogs. She and her “little buddy,” Jagger, arrive at the office together everyday. In her off time, Tee enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, and hanging out with friends.


Kylene joined the BWA team in August of 2003, after graduating Cum Laude with a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Kylene received her CPA license in February of 2005 becoming one of three CPAs in the BWA office. She supports over 50 business clients and over 100 individual tax clients with tax reporting and planning. Her advanced research and intuitive business fortitude make her an essential link in the BWA team.
For her outstanding contributions to the firm, Kylene was awarded partial ownership in January 2008.
While at UTSA, Kylene was a member of the track and cross-country team competing for all 5 years. Her competitive nature still continues to seek an outlet in triathlons, cycling and running. In her down time Kylene enjoys hanging out with her husband Steven, a firefighter for the City of San Antonio, and their three basset hounds.


A native to San Antonio, Mari joined the BWA team in January 2006. Mari’s 22 years of business experience is focused in the areas of strategic and tactical business operations, operational process improvement, business development, client services training, and product innovation.
Mari is a graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio with a BBA in Accounting and Information Systems and a MBA in Managerial Accounting. Her entrepreneurial spirit thrives when collaborating with small business owners and assisting them to attain a level of success they had only dreamed possible.
Mari’s non-working hours are spent with her husband and two children serving each other and their community.


Angelica is a native Colombian who has worked as a software developer and systems analyst since 1995. She received her Associates Degree in Computer Programming from San Antonio College in 2001 and her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in Computer Information Systems from Texas A&M, Kingsville in 2004.
Angelica joined the BWA team in June 2005, as our Senior IT Consultant. Her current projects include web-based software design and development and database architecture. She is fluent in English, Spanish, ASP Net, Visual Basic, HTML, and SQL.
When not working in front of a computer, Angelica enjoys movies, reading, and is now taking NIA classes.

Christina was born and raised in rural Kansas. She took every opportunity to work and travel each summer throughout college. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas and received a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Phoenix in 2009.
She continued her travels and lived and worked in both Mexico and Japan. In October 2005 she moved to San Antonio from Japan, and joined the BWA team in December 2009.
Christina’s hours outside of the office are primarily spent with her two daughters. In her spare time she also enjoys playing tennis and volleyball, spending time with friends, and reading a good book.
